Description
This compatible screen replaces the upper or lower screen of a damaged Nintendo DS Lite. It is a part made by a third party, suited to this specific model. It helps you recover a readable display when the glass is cracked, or the image is stained, dark or missing.
Before fitting, switch off the console, remove the game cartridge and place it on a clean, flat surface. Work in a well-lit area and use a screwdriver suited to small screws. To avoid electrostatic discharge, touch an earthed metal surface regularly. Never force the ribbon cables, which are fragile, and disconnect them carefully by lifting the connector.
After fitting, switch on the console and check the display on both screens, the brightness, the touch function and that the hinges hold firmly. If the image shows faults, recheck the ribbon cables before closing the casing completely.
