Description
This replacement screen is designed for the OnePlus 9 Pro. It is a compatible OLED screen made by a high-end third-party manufacturer, whose rendering is close to that of the original part. It is used to replace a cracked, broken or malfunctioning display, for example with black areas, altered colours or a touch panel that no longer responds.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and work on a clean, flat surface. Use a suitable tool to open the chassis, and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables to avoid any short circuit. Avoid static discharges by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and if it is swollen, stop using it.
After assembly, check the touch, brightness, colours and the sensors near the screen before fully closing the phone. For a new or replaced battery, carry out a few complete charge cycles to optimise its behaviour.
