Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of a Google Pixel 5. It is used to restore the image and touch when the glass is cracked, when areas no longer respond, or when the display shows lines, spots or a dark background. It is a third-party part designed to fit the Pixel 5 model.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with an antistatic mat if possible, and gently warm the edges of the screen with a heat gun at moderate heat to loosen the adhesive without forcing it. Keep the small screws in an organised tray and photograph each step.
After fitting, check the function before closing the casing completely: test the touch across the whole surface, the brightness, the colours and the proximity sensor. If the current part shows a swollen battery, stop using the device and never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
