Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch glass and display of the Google Pixel 6 Pro when they are damaged: cracked screen, touch zones that no longer respond, altered colours or no image. It is a third-party part designed to fit the model indicated and take over the function of the current part.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit, dust-free workspace. Use suitable tools, in particular a suction cup and a set of fine spudgers, and avoid excessive heat when separating the glass. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables and protect sensitive components from static electricity with an anti-static wrist strap if possible.
After fitting, check the display, brightness, touch across the whole surface and the proper operation of the sensors near the screen before closing the device for good. If anything is abnormal, reconnect the battery, check the connectors and repeat the test.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work.
- Warm the edges lightly and in moderation to loosen the glass.
- Protect the ribbon cables from static electricity and work carefully.
- Check the display and touch before closing the phone again.
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery; do not use a swollen battery.
