Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of a damaged Redmi Note 9. It is used to restore the image and touch function when the glass is cracked, the display shows lines, spots or dark areas, or the panel no longer responds properly to touch. It is a compatible part from third-party manufacturing, offered as an affordable solution to repair your device.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the battery if the model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use tools suited to opening the device without forcing it. Warm the edges of the glass lightly with a hairdryer on a moderate setting to soften the adhesive, and never go beyond lukewarm to the touch. Disconnect the battery before unplugging the screen ribbon cable.
Once the assembly is complete, check the operation before closing the casing for good: display, brightness, touch response across the whole surface and proximity sensors during a call. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it. As for the battery, fully recharge the device several times to stabilise its operation.
