Description
This compatible screen replaces the display panel of the Fitbit Ionic smartwatch. It restores a readable display when your current screen is cracked, scratched, partly blackened or no longer responds to touch. It is made by a third party and sold as an affordable solution to repair your watch rather than replace it.
Before you start, switch off the watch and prepare a clean, well-lit and uncluttered workspace. Use a plastic opening tool so you do not scratch the casing, and avoid forcing the connectors. Work at room temperature, without excessive heat. To reduce the risk from static electricity, touch an earthed metal surface before handling the components. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it.
After fitting, switch the watch on and check the display, the touch response and the edges of the screen. Also make sure the casing closes properly. If the result is not satisfactory, disconnect the battery again before any further work.
