Description
This compatible screen replaces the touchscreen and the display of the Fitbit Versa watch. It is used to restore the display when the glass is cracked, when the image is switched off, distorted or when the panel shows black areas. This is a third-party part, suited to the Fitbit Versa model.
Before you start, switch off the watch and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace free of static electricity. Use a plastic opening tool and a small screwdriver suited to the case screws. Gently warm the edges with a hair dryer on a moderate setting to release the adhesive, never going beyond lukewarm. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
After fitting, check the touch response across the whole surface, the display at different brightness levels and the sealing of the case before closing it completely. If the battery looks swollen, stop using the watch and do not attempt to put it back into service.
