Description
This compatible screen is designed for the One E8 smartphone. It is the glass and display assembly that replaces the visible part of the device. It allows you to repair a cracked or broken screen, as well as a display that has become partial, with black areas, lines or a faulty touch response.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely. If your model allows it, disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools and a suction cup to lift the glass. Touch an earthed metal surface before handling the components to reduce the risks linked to static electricity.
After fitting, check the display, the brightness, the touch response in the corners of the screen and the sensors before closing the casing. Avoid excessive heat when loosening the glass. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it. Then carry out a few full charge cycles and monitor how the device works.
