Description
This compatible screen replaces the damaged touch panel of the Surface Pro 7 (2019). It helps restore a sharp display and a responsive touch surface when the glass is cracked, areas stay black or the image shows lines. It is a third-party part, designed to fit this model.
Before you start, switch the tablet off completely and unplug the charger. Prepare a clean workspace, suitable precision tools and a small tray for the screws. You must disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and take care not to bend or puncture the lithium battery. If it is swollen, do not use it. Also avoid strong heat sources and discharge any static electricity before touching the components.
After reassembly, switch the device back on and check the display, brightness and touch across the whole surface. For the battery, carry out a few full charge cycles so that the battery life stabilises.
