Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch display of the Surface Pro 7 Plus (2021) when it is cracked, scratched, or no longer shows the image correctly. It is a replacement part made by a third party, designed to fit the model indicated. Once fitted, it restores the display and touch response of the tablet when the fault comes from the screen itself.
Before you start, switch off the tablet, unplug the charger and let it cool down. Prepare a clean workspace, an anti-static mat if possible, and tools suited to the Surface screws. When removing the screen, disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, never bend the lithium battery, and do not puncture it. If it is swollen, do not try to reuse it.
After fitting, check the display, the touch function and the edges of the screen before closing everything up. Carry out a few full charging cycles to check that the whole assembly works properly. A compatible part may show slight differences from the original part: if in doubt, stop fitting rather than forcing it.
