Description

This compatible replacement screen is designed for the iPhone 17. It replaces a cracked, broken or malfunctioning screen, for example with black areas, altered colours or a display that no longer responds to touch. It is supplied as a compatible part, made by a third-party manufacturer, and is an economical solution for repairing your device yourself.

Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with tools suited to small screws. Use a tray to store the screws in the order they were removed. To avoid any short circuit, disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid static discharge by touching an earthed metal surface. Do not puncture or bend the battery, and never use a device whose battery is swollen.

Once assembly is complete, check the touch response, brightness, colours and the front display before permanently closing the casing. If the battery has been disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles to let the system adjust. Stay alert to heat during the first few uses.
