Description
This compatible screen replaces the damaged touch panel and display of the Huawei Mate 10 (2017). It restores a readable image and a responsive touch area when the glass is cracked, the image is black or streaked, or the touch no longer responds properly. Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it, and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables to avoid any short circuit. Protect yourself from static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before touching the components. Moderate heat is enough to loosen the glass: never heat it too much.
Once fitting is complete, check the screen, touch, brightness and sensors before closing the casing. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it. For a lithium battery, a few complete charge cycles will confirm that it behaves correctly.
