Description
This compatible screen replaces the glass and display panel of the Mate S (2015) when they are cracked, broken or no longer respond to touch. It restores a readable display and a working touch surface, without having to change your phone.
This part is a third-party manufacture compatible with the model. It fits in place of the current part after removing the back cover and connectors. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and suction cups to lift the glass without forcing it. Avoid any contact with the ribbon cables, and protect yourself from static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface.
After fitting, check the touch across the whole area, the brightness, the colours and the correct seating of the proximity sensor before closing everything up completely. Never puncture or bend the battery, and do not use the phone if the battery is swollen.
