Description
This compatible screen replaces the damaged panel of a Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. It restores the display when the glass is cracked, the image is distorted or areas remain black. It is a part made by a third party, designed to fit the Mi Mix 3 model.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and plastic tools to separate components without damaging them. Remove the old screen taking care of the ribbon cables, which are fragile. Avoid electrostatic discharge by regularly touching a grounded metal surface.
After fitting, check the touch function, brightness, colours and proximity sensor detection before closing the device. For a battery, let it go through a few full charge cycles before heavy use. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and stop using any swollen cell.
