Description
This compatible screen replaces the touchscreen of the Nintendo Wii U console. It is a part made by a third party, designed to fit the Wii U model. It is used to restore the display when the screen is cracked, broken, no longer turns on, or shows lines, spots or a faulty image.
Before you start, switch the console off completely and disconnect the power supply. Work on a clean, well-lit surface, with a suitable screwdriver and plastic tools so you do not scratch the casing. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Disconnect the battery and ribbon cables before any handling and take care not to bend the connectors.
Once assembly is complete, check the display, touch response and button operation before fully closing the device. If the image still shows defects, recheck the connectors. Never force a cable or a clip. If the battery is swollen or damaged, stop using it.
