Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch glass and display assembly of the current part on a Nokia 6. It helps restore the picture, touch sensitivity and readability of a phone whose screen is cracked, broken or no longer responds properly. When the glass is smashed, the screen is often the only part to replace to get the phone working normally again.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and a flat tool to separate the chassis without forcing it. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface, and do not overheat the device to loosen the adhesive.
After fitting, check the display, the touch response in all corners and the brightness before closing the casing completely. If the battery was disconnected, switch the device back on and check charging. A swollen battery must never be used: do not puncture or bend it.
