Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of a Samsung Galaxy A5 (A520, 2017). It is used to restore the image and touch sensitivity when the glass is cracked, the display is black or streaked, or the touch zones no longer respond. It is a third-party manufactured part, compatible with this model.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your confidence level allows. Prepare a clean workspace, a suction cup, suitable tools and a holder for the screws. When dismantling, disconnect the ribbon cables carefully, without forcing them, and protect yourself against static electricity. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
After fitting, check the display, brightness, touch across the whole surface and the sensors near the screen before closing the casing completely. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise the unit. If the battery is swollen, stop using the device.
