Description
This compatible replacement screen is designed for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. It replaces the visible part of the phone, that is the panel which displays images and the touch layer which responds to your fingers. It is used to fix the most common faults: cracked or broken screen, distorted image, touch zones that no longer respond, or a display that flickers or stays black while the phone still works.
Before you start, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, with an anti-static mat if you have one. Switch the phone off completely and, before removing any ribbon cable, disconnect the battery where the procedure requires it. Work with suitable tools, without forcing anything, and gently warm the edges of the screen with a heat gun set to a moderate temperature to loosen the adhesive more easily.
After fitting, check the touch response over the whole surface, the brightness, the colours and the edges of the screen before closing the phone. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles so the system can recalibrate. Never use a swollen or damaged battery, and never puncture or bend a lithium battery.
