Description
This replacement display is an original manufacturer part, sold as an official "Service Pack" component. It is used to replace a Pixel 5 screen that is cracked, scratched, or whose touch response is no longer working properly. It restores a display and touch performance close to that of a new device, with an appearance identical to the original.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and work on a clean, well-lit surface. Use suitable tools and a suction cup to lift the glass carefully. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid contact with electronic components to limit electrostatic discharge. Never force the connectors and do not bend the cables.
Once assembly is complete, check the touch, brightness and sensors before closing the housing for good. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it carefully and make sure the device starts normally.
