Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch screen and display of your CMF Phone 1 when they are cracked, scratched or no longer respond to touch. It helps restore the display and touch surface of your smartphone. It notably helps fix common faults such as a broken glass, black areas or colours that are fading.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to avoid electrostatic discharge. Use suitable tools and gently heat the edges of the glass with moderate heat to lift the current part without forcing it.
After fitting, check the display, brightness and touch response across the whole surface before closing the casing. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and do not use the phone if the battery is swollen.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before working
- Heat the edges moderately to lift the current part
- Protect components from electrostatic discharge
- Test the display and touch before closing the casing
- Never puncture or bend a lithium battery
