Description
This compatible screen is designed for the Samsung Galaxy S5. It replaces the damaged touch panel and display, for example if the screen is cracked, if touch zones no longer respond, or if the image no longer displays correctly. It is a part made by a third party, designed to fit the model indicated.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery where the design allows. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools to open the casing without forcing it. Ribbon cables are fragile: disconnect them carefully, without bending them. A swollen or damaged battery must never be used or punctured.
After fitting, check the display, the brightness, the touch function across the whole surface and the sensors near the screen before closing the casing. If the phone heats up abnormally during testing, stop and disconnect it.
