Description
This compatible screen replaces the display of a damaged Samsung Galaxy S6, for example in case of a cracked glass, a faulty display or touch zones that no longer respond. It is a third-party manufactured part, designed to fit the Galaxy S6 model.
Before fitting, switch off the phone completely and disconnect the battery if your disassembly allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools to avoid scratching the chassis. Mind static electricity: touch an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Do not overheat the adhesive or the parts, and never force the ribbon cables.
Once the screen is installed, check the touch, brightness, colours and display edges before fully closing the device. If the screen is poorly positioned or an area remains unresponsive, redo the fitting rather than forcing it. Never try to open a swollen battery: if you notice one, stop using it and handle it with care.
