Description
This display is an original manufacturer part, or an official "Service Pack" part. It replaces the front section of the iPhone 16 Plus, namely the display panel and the touch surface. It is used to restore the display after a cracked screen, a broken panel, a touch area that no longer responds or abnormal colours. According to the manufacturer, its performance and battery life are identical to those of a new part.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and work on a clean, clear surface. Prepare tools suited to small screws, a tray to keep them organised, and a suction cup or plastic opening tool. Avoid excessive heat to soften the adhesive, and handle the components with hands free of static electricity. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
After assembly, check the display, brightness, touch response across the whole surface and the proximity sensor during a call. If the battery is swollen, stop using the phone. Keep the device under observation for a few days, then check the essential functions again.
