Before you start, switch the phone off completely and work on a clean surface in a well-lit place. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never force the connectors. After fitting, check the touch, brightness, vibration and camera before fully closing the device.
