Description
This screen replaces the touch panel and display of your iPhone 17e. It is the part to use when the screen is cracked, no longer responds to touch in places, shows spots or lines, or when part of the image no longer appears. It is an original part from the manufacturer, or an official « Service Pack » part: its display and battery life are identical to those of a new screen.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with tools suited to small screws. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and avoid any sudden movement with the lithium battery: do not puncture it, do not bend it, and do not use it if it is swollen. Work at room temperature and handle the components away from static electricity.
Once reassembly is complete, check the brightness, touch response across the whole surface, Face ID recognition and colours. Then let the phone run a few full charging cycles so the system can stabilise. If in doubt, take the phone apart again and check the connectors.
