Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch glass and display module of the Samsung Galaxy J7 (model J727, 2017). It helps restore a sharp display and a responsive touch surface when your current screen is cracked, scratched, or no longer responds correctly to touch. It is made by a third party and offered as compatible: it is therefore not a Samsung part, but an affordable solution to repair your device.
Before you start, switch off the smartphone completely and gather a small set of screwdrivers, a suction cup and a plastic spudger. Work on a clean, well-lit surface and note where each screw goes, as they are not all the same length. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid any pressure on the battery. If it is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
Once the replacement is done, switch the device back on and check the display, the brightness, the touch response across the whole surface and the sensors near the screen. If you removed any seals, also check that they are still watertight. If a fault appears, switch the device off again before resuming the repair.

- Use a suction cup and a plastic spudger to separate the current part without forcing it
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery; avoid excessive heat
- Check touch and brightness before closing the casing
- Keep the screws in the order you removed them for a safe reassembly
