Description
This screen is a compatible part designed for the J7 Pro, model J730, released in 2017. It is used to replace a damaged display panel, whether the screen is cracked or broken, or its image shows spots, lines, black areas, or a touchscreen that no longer responds.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and prepare small screwdrivers, a suction cup and a clean work surface. Open the phone gently, then disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. A lithium battery must never be punctured or bent, and a swollen battery must no longer be used. Work at room temperature and avoid any excessive heat.
After fitting, check the display, brightness, touchscreen and proximity sensor before closing the casing completely. For a battery, run a few full charge cycles to obtain a reliable charge level reading. Touch an earthed metal surface before handling the part to limit static electricity discharges.
