Description
This replacement screen is designed for the Nintendo Switch. It is a compatible part, made by a high-end third-party manufacturer, with an OLED display. Its display is close to that of the current part, which makes it an interesting option for replacing a cracked or broken screen, or one whose display has been impaired, such as dark areas or colours that no longer stand out.
Before you start, switch the console off completely and unplug the power supply. Work on a clean, flat surface, with a suitable screwdriver and a small flat tool to separate the parts gently. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal object. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never bend the connectors.
Once assembly is complete, reconnect the battery and switch the console on to check the display, brightness and touch response across the whole surface. If the battery was disconnected, let it go through a few full charge cycles so it returns to stable operation. If you notice any abnormality, switch the device off immediately.
