Description
This replacement screen is designed for the Nintendo Switch OLED. It replaces the damaged panel of the console, whether it is cracked, stained, unevenly lit, or shows black lines and areas. It is a compatible premium part, made by a high-end third party specialised in OLED screens. Its display comes close to that of the current part, without being an exact copy.
Before disassembly, switch off the console, unplug the power supply and take the time to work on a clean, clear and well-lit surface. Keep the small screws in a tray in the order they were removed. Handle the panel by its edges, without pressing on the surface, and avoid any static discharge by using an anti-static wrist strap if possible. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Never try to pierce, bend or compress the lithium battery, and never use a swollen or damaged battery.
After assembly, check the display before fully closing the casing: brightness, colours, touch response and absence of dead pixels. Then run a few full charge cycles to check that the whole unit works properly, and monitor the temperature during first use to make sure it stays moderate.
Tips
- Switch off the console and unplug it before any intervention.
- Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables.
- Handle the screen by its edges, without pressing on the display.
- Use an anti-static wrist strap to avoid discharges.
- Check the display before fully closing the casing.
