Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of a Google Pixel 3a XL. It is a part manufactured by a third party, designed to fit this model. It is used to restore the display when the screen is cracked, broken or no longer responds to touch, or when the image shows black areas, lines or abnormal colours.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable opening tool, and avoid excessive heat so as not to damage the lithium battery. Do not puncture or bend the battery, and stop using the device if the battery is swollen.
Once assembly is complete, check the display, brightness, touch response across the whole surface and the proximity sensor before fully closing the phone. These checks help you quickly spot a connection fault.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before working
- Handle the ribbon cables carefully to avoid damaging them
- Protect the device from static electricity during assembly
- Test touch, display and brightness before closing the device
- Do not use the battery if it is swollen or damaged
