Description
This compatible screen is designed for the Google Pixel 6. It replaces the current screen when it is cracked, no longer responds to touch or shows lines and black areas. It is a part made by a third party, designed to fit the model indicated. It lets you get normal use of the screen back for reading, browsing and apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace free of static electricity. Use suitable tools to open the casing without forcing it and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Take the time to note each connector and each screw to make reassembly easier.
After fitting, check touch response, brightness and colour display across the whole screen, as well as the proximity sensor. If the battery was disconnected, switch the device back on gradually. If the battery swells or shows any abnormality, stop using it.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any handling
- Work on a clean surface, free of static electricity
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Check touch, brightness and proximity after fitting
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
