Description
This compatible screen replaces the damaged display panel and touch layer of a Google Pixel 8a. It helps restore the picture and touch response when the glass is cracked, the image is distorted, black patches remain, or the phone no longer responds properly to your finger.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with suitable small screwdrivers and suction cups. Work at room temperature, without excessive heat to loosen the adhesive. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables and use an anti-static wrist strap or touch a metal surface to limit static electricity.
After fitting, check the display, brightness, touch across the whole surface and the proximity sensor. Keep the screws sorted in the order you removed them. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
