Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of your OPPO Reno3 (2020) when they are cracked, scratched, black or no longer respond correctly to touch. It is a third-party part designed to fit the Reno3 model and restore the device's display and touch function.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean, flat surface with a suitable screwdriver and a suction cup. Avoid excessive heat to loosen the glass: moderate warmth is enough. Protect the components from static electricity, for example by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the parts.
After fitting, check the touch across the whole surface, the brightness, the colours and that the screen reaches the edges before closing the device completely. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture, bend or crush it.
Tips
- Switch the phone off and disconnect the battery before working on the ribbon cables
- Never puncture or bend a lithium battery; if it is swollen, do not use it
- Heat the adhesive moderately to loosen the glass, without excessive heat
- Check the touch and display before closing the device
- Protect the components from static electricity during fitting
