Description
This screen replaces the touch panel and display of your Active 5 (2023) when the current screen is cracked, stained or no longer responds correctly to touch. It is a compatible premium part made by a high-end third-party manufacturer, with an OLED panel whose rendering is close to that of the current part.
Once the replacement is done, the screen should regain its sharp display, its colours and its touch responsiveness. Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery, then prepare a clean workspace, an anti-static mat and suitable tools so you do not damage the ribbon cables. Handle the panel by its edges, without pressing on the surface.
After fitting, check the touch across the whole surface, the brightness and the absence of dead pixels before closing the casing. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it. Keep heat moderate during the repair.
