Description
This replacement screen is designed for the Series 10 watch in the 46 mm size. It replaces the damaged display of the watch: cracked glass, black areas, irregular touch response or a display that no longer responds. It is an OLED screen made by a high-end third-party manufacturer, with a rendering close to the original part.
Before you start, switch the watch off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit and dust-free workspace. Work on a flat surface, with a suitable opening tool and a bit of patience. Avoid excessive heat when lifting the display, and protect your hands and the components against static electricity. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend the lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using the watch.
Once the assembly is finished, check the touch function across the whole surface, the colour display, the brightness and the proper operation of the sensors. Then let the watch go through a few full charging cycles so the system stabilises. If a fault persists, stop using the watch and check the assembly before doing anything else.
