Description
This replacement screen is designed for the 38 mm Apple Watch Series 2. It replaces the watch display when it is cracked, deeply scratched, or when the picture becomes blurred, pixelated or partly inactive. It is a compatible premium part made by a high-end third-party manufacturer, with an OLED panel whose rendering comes close to that of the original part.
Before you start, switch off the watch and place it on a clean, well-lit work surface. Prepare a small screwdriver suited to the screws, a suction cup or a plastic opening tool, and some patience. Avoid any metal tool that could scratch the glass or damage the ribbon cable. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and protect yourself from static electricity by avoiding working on a floor or surface that generates it.
Once assembly is complete, reconnect the battery, then check the display, touch response and reaction to presses. Let the watch go through several full charge cycles before heavy use. If the battery looks swollen or deformed, stop using it and never puncture or bend it.
