Description
This replacement screen is designed for the Apple Watch Series 2 in the 42 mm size. It replaces the glass and the OLED panel of a broken, cracked or faulty display, such as black areas, spots or irregular touch response. It is a compatible premium part made by a high-end third-party manufacturer, with a display close to that of the current part.
Before you start, switch off the watch and work on a clean, well-lit surface free of dust. Use a suitable tool to open the case and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, to avoid any short circuit. Protect yourself against static electricity by handling the components carefully. Do not puncture, bend or expose the battery to excessive heat.
Once assembly is complete, check the display, brightness, touch across the whole surface and the sensor function. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles so the system recalibrates it properly. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
