Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of the Series 4 watch in 40 mm when these are damaged, cracked or no longer respond correctly. It ensures the display of information and the reception of touch commands on the device. It is a high-end third-party manufacture with an OLED screen, whose rendering is close to that of the current part.
Before starting, switch off the watch and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface with antistatic tools, and avoid any electrostatic discharge that could damage the components. Never puncture, bend or heat the lithium battery. If the battery is swollen, stop using the device and do not attempt to repair it.
After fitting, check the touch response over the whole surface, the brightness and the absence of dead zones. Carry out a few full charging cycles so that the assembly works properly, then check that the waterproofing and fixing are correctly in place before putting the watch back into use.
