Description
This display is a compatible replacement part for the 40 mm Apple Watch Series 6. It is an OLED module made by a high-end third-party manufacturer, whose display rendering comes close to that of the original part. It is used to replace a cracked, scratched or faulty screen, for example with black areas, spots or irregular touch response.
Before fitting, switch off the watch and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use tools suited to opening small devices, and avoid excessive heat so as not to damage the lithium battery. Never puncture, bend or force the battery. If it is swollen, stop using the device. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables and protect the components from static electricity.
Once the replacement is done, check the display, brightness, touch and sensors before fully closing the watch. Then let the battery go through a few complete charging cycles so the device works properly.
