Description
This replacement screen is intended for the Series 7 watch in 45 mm size. It is used to replace the touch panel and display when the glass is cracked, the image is distorted, black areas remain or the touch no longer responds correctly. It is a compatible premium part, made by a high-end third-party manufacturer with an OLED panel, whose rendering comes close to the current part.
Before starting, switch the watch off and discharge it as much as possible. Work on a clean, flat surface, with a suitable opening tool and some moderate heat to loosen the adhesive without forcing it. To avoid any risk, disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and beware of static electricity. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a swollen battery.
After fitting, check the display, brightness, touch across the whole surface and the operation of the sensors. If the watch seems unstable, let it go through a few full charge cycles before judging the result.
