Description
This replacement screen is a compatible part designed for the Series 8 in the 45 mm size. It replaces the touch panel and display of the watch when it is cracked, scratched on the surface or no longer responds correctly to touch. It is a high-end third-party manufacture with an OLED screen, whose display comes close to that of the original part.
Before you begin, prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, with an anti-static mat if possible. Switch the watch off and avoid any strain on the ribbon cables. Work with tools suited to small screws and to opening the case, and do not heat the device more than necessary to soften the adhesive.
Once assembly is complete, check the display, the touch response and the correct operation of the crown and buttons before fully closing the case. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables.
