Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch glass and display of the OnePlus Pad 3 tablet when the current screen is cracked, scratched or no longer responds correctly to touch. It restores a sharp display and a working touch surface, without changing the rest of the device. It is a part made by a third-party manufacturer.
Before you start, switch the tablet off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools and a small container to keep the screws in. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never bend the connectors. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not try to puncture or bend it.
After reassembly, check the display, brightness and touch response across the whole surface before closing the casing completely. If you have replaced the battery, carry out a few full charging cycles so the device can stabilise its battery life.
