Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of your Huawei P9 (2016). It is used to restore the display and touch response when the glass is cracked, the image is distorted, there are black areas, or the screen no longer responds properly. This is a part manufactured by a third party, known as compatible, which does not come from the manufacturer.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean, flat surface, with suitable and, if possible, anti-static tools. Gently warm the edges with a hot air gun at a moderate temperature to loosen the adhesive, and never overheat the device. Avoid forcing the connectors and check that the cables are correctly positioned before closing the device.
After assembly, check the display, brightness and touch response across the whole surface before refitting the back cover. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise the system. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
