Description
This compatible screen replaces the damaged touch panel and display of a Poco M4 5G. It restores a sharp image and a working touch surface when the glass is cracked, the colours are distorted or areas no longer respond to touch.
Before you start, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and gently warm the edges of the screen with a heat gun at moderate heat to loosen the adhesive. Keep the small screws in a tray so they do not get lost.
After fitting, check the display, brightness, touch across the whole surface and nearby sensors, such as proximity detection. Never force the ribbon cables, and do not puncture or bend any lithium battery. If the battery is swollen, do not try to use it.
