Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of a damaged Redmi 5. It helps restore the image, touch sensitivity and readability of the screen when it is cracked, black, spotted or no longer responds properly. It is a third-party part suited to this smartphone model.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model's procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools to avoid scratching or bending the ribbon cables. Never force the connectors and keep the small screws in a precise order.
After fitting, check the display, the touch across the whole surface and the sensors near the screen before closing the casing for good. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it carefully. A swollen battery must never be used, pierced or bent.
