Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of your Redmi 8 when they are cracked, no longer respond to touch or show black areas or lines. It is a third-party part designed to be fitted in place of the current part on this model.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery when the manual or disassembly guide advises it, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Never force the ribbon cables and never use excessive heat to loosen the adhesive.
Once fitting is complete, check the display, brightness, touch across the whole surface and the proximity sensor before closing the device for good. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it carefully and check correct operation after the first start-up.
