Description

This screen is an original manufacturer part designed for the Redmi Note 17 4G. It replaces the touch panel and display of your phone when they are cracked, broken, no longer respond to touch or show black areas or spots. It is an official part, identical to the one fitted at the factory, with picture quality and performance comparable to a new device.

Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools: suction cup, plastic spudger and a small screwdriver. Gently warm the edges of the screen with a hair dryer on a moderate setting to loosen the adhesive, and never overheat the phone. Do not bend the ribbon cable and do not force the connectors.

Once the fitting is complete, switch the device on and check the touch response across all areas, the brightness, the colours and the detection of the proximity sensor. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise operation. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
