Description
This compatible screen is a replacement part for the Redmi Note 5. It is used to replace the touch panel and display when they are damaged: cracked screen, touch zones that no longer respond, frozen image, lines or spots on the screen, or a display that has gone dark. Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid excessive heat when lifting the glass. Do not puncture, bend or apply pressure to the lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using it.
After fitting, check the touch panel, brightness, colours and screen edges before closing the housing. It is advisable to run a few full charge cycles to make sure the device works correctly.
