Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch panel and display of the 40 mm Apple Watch Series 4. It is used to restore visibility and touch when the glass is cracked, the display is blackened, stained or no longer responds correctly to your finger. It is a part made by a third party, designed to fit the model indicated.
Before you begin, switch off the watch and work on a clean, flat surface. Use a plastic opening tool rather than a metal object, and gently warm the edges with a hairdryer on a moderate setting to loosen the adhesive. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and protect yourself from static electricity by avoiding touching the connectors directly. Never puncture, bend or apply pressure to the lithium battery.
After fitting, check the screen’s operation, the touch response across the whole surface and the colour display before closing the case completely. If the battery looks swollen, stop using the watch and do not charge it.
