Description
This compatible screen replaces the touch digitiser and display of the Surface Go (2018) when they are cracked, scratched, or no longer respond correctly to touch. It restores a sharp image and a working touch surface, without changing the tablet itself.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect its power supply. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to limit the risks linked to static electricity. Use suitable tools, for example a suction cup and a plastic spudger, and avoid excessive heat when lifting the glass. Disconnect the battery before handling the connection ribbons.
Once the assembly is complete, check the display, the touch response across the whole surface and the correct operation of the sensors before closing the device for good. If the tablet's battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles so that the device regains stable behaviour. Never use a swollen or damaged battery, and do not puncture or bend any lithium battery.
